I order these premium handcut moonstones from my Indian sister Nidhi and her husband Ranjan, who is my stone cutter. The briolettes float from a string of handwired blue zircons.
These are 14k gold filled, but you can custom order them in silver or or 14K gold (prices on request).
The moonstone is characterised by an enchanting play of light, a phenomenon known as 'adularisation'. In earlier times, people believed they could recognise in it the crescent and waning phases of the moon.
In India moonstones are regarded as 'dream stones' bringing the wearer beautiful visions at night. They are cut to reflect the natural shimmer of the crystals.
